Welcome to BillDolack.com!
When I'm not busy spending time with my family or making money at my real job, this is probably where you'll find me. This site has gone through dozens of changes and redesigns as I've bounced back and forth, trying to decide its purpose. So... here is the final version (maybe).

I don't need to go into anything about who I am or what my history is... you can just click on the Meet Bill Dolack link to the left (and if you don't click on it, you'll be missing a very interesting story).

Anyhow, this is my online home, a place for me to talk about the books I've written... and maybe even get you to buy a copy.

The site also features a weekly Health Report, bringing you important health news from across the Internet, as well as info on Chritian and family-friendly movies.

And if you click the Blog link to the left, it'll bring you to the page that I call my blog, although technically it's just a webpage where I'll be updating my news. Something interesting's bound to happen soon and that's the place I'll put that info.

So... I hope you enjoy the site!

Prescription Drugs Useless at Reducing Heart Disease Risk for the Obese
by David Gutierrez, Natural News staff writer

(NaturalNews) Taking drugs for cholesterol and blood pressure without actually losing weight does not decrease people's risk of cardiovascular disease, according to researchers from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Researchers examined 6,814 people between the ages of 45 and 84 for subclinical markers of cardiovascular disease, such as thickening of the carotid artery walls. They found that while none of the participants had experienced clinical heart events yet, those who were overweight or obese were more likely to exhibit risk factors suggesting that they would probably have heart attacks or strokes in the future. This held true even among those taking drugs for blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes.

DESTINY
There is something wrong in Asbury... something dreadfully wrong.

Imagine a small town nestled high in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There are lush green valleys, sparkling clear rivers... and an evil entity waiting to destroy all that is good.

And now the clock has started ticking. In 30 days, The Group plans to achieve its collective destiny. All that stands between them and victory is a small number of determined men and women who are willing to do whatever it takes to win the battle for the soul of Asbury.

Think it can't happen in your town?

Think again!

With his writing likened to that of Frank Peretti, in Destiny Bill Dolack has crafted a novel that showcases the ongoing battle between good and evil, at what often appears to be insurmountable odds. This is Christian fiction at its best! Destiny, originally published in 2002, is the tale of a shadowy satanic group that has infiltrated the government and schools of a small New Hampshire town. This newly revised version with new material is available through Lulu.com. Click here to purchase.

DOMINION OF DARKNESS
An evil sorcerer, a wicked bishop, and a dragon... Winshaew, once a land of plenty, is now a cold, forbidding land controlled by the vicious Baron Shaevor. But even here in this forbidding land high in the rugged mountains of the Old World, there is still a flicker of the Light. Join Ackmar the knight as he battles incredible odds while searching for the Light in this classic allegory of good versus evil.

Originally written as a short story for my daughter's 11th birthday in 2000, the story has been expanded over the years and is now a 68-page novella. I'd like to keep working on Winshaew, eventually turning it into a full-length novel.

FORGOTTEN FOOT-SOLDIERS ON THE FRONTIER OF INDEPENDENCE
Forgotten Foot-Soldiers:

Despite the revionist history that is all the rage today, God's hand in the founding of America cannot be denied. In Forgotten Foot-Soldiers on the Frontier of Independence, the lost story of the early settlers of Virginia's "Great Valley" is brought to life. Read the often miraculous stories of survival on America's first "wild frontier" as hardy pioneers face the perils of the wilderness, carving out a land for themselves and future generations, and bringing us to...

...the Frontier of Independence.

Discover God's hand in history as the wild frontier west of the Blue Ridge Mountains is settled and tamed. This book covers the time period between the early 1700s--as intrepid explorers crossed the Great Mountains--through the beginning of the Revolutionary War as Major Andrew Lewis led the colonists to a resounding victory at Point Pleasant.
